ACCREDITATION: This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 23.0 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.  AAFP prescribed credit is accepted by the AMA as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 for the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. (When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed hours earned must be reported as prescribed hours not Category 1.)

The Family Medicine Foundation of WV has been designated as an     approved provider of continuing education for registered professional nurses in WV.  Our WV BRN provider number is WV1996-0101-RN. This program has been approved by the WV Board of Physical Therapy and has been assigned approval number FMF-FO9-01.  Approval of this course does not necessarily imply that the WV Board of Physical Therapy supports the views of the presenter or sponsor.

The Kentucky Physical Therapy Association has approved the course for 23.0 contact hours (Category I), expiration date May 1, 2010.  Approval # 35-IPKPTA-09.

The Kentucky Board of Occupational Therapy has approved the program for 23.5 hours of CE credit.  Approval # 2009-43.

This program has been approved for 22.0 contact hours of continuing education  (includes 10.2 hours of pharmacology) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Program ID 0902087.

The Ohio Board of Occupational Therapy approved the program for 22.75 contact hours.  Approval # 100154.

The West Virginia Board of Chiropractic has approved 7.0 hours of continuing education credit for the Sunday Sports Medicine Program.

The Family Medicine Foundation of WV is recognized by the Board of Certification to offer continuing education to Certified Athletic Trainers (BOC approved provider #P657). The three-day program has been approved for 23.0 contact hours or CEUs. The Sunday Sports 7Medicine program has been approved for 7.0 contact hours or CEUs.
